Trump calls Hillary Clinton ‘the devil’

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Donald Trump launched a familiar attack against Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday, saying the lawmaker from Vermont made an arrangement that he shouldn't have when he decided to support Hillary Clinton for president. But this time, his word choice was more aggressively critical of Clinton.

"He made a deal with the devil. She's the devil," Trump said of Sanders and Clinton.

Trump made his comments at an evening rally here. He steered clear of the firestorm over his criticism of the Muslim American parents of an Army officer killed in Iraq 12 years ago. Trump drew forceful criticism Monday for his attacks from decorated combat veterans, members of Congress and family members of slain soldiers. The blowback to his criticism has been bipartisan.

Trump's running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, was questioned at a Nevada event by a military mother who asked whether he would confront Trump over the "disrespect" Trump has shown to veterans and Khzir and Ghazala Khan, the parents of Capt. Humayun Khan. She was booed by the crowd.

Booing the mom's servicemen and calling for political opponents to be jailed and referring them as the devil. Yet, he is polling over 40 percent and won the Republican nomination going away. This is the base of support that Fox News/Limbaugh helped create.

He's twisting in the wind now, if this continues until Labor Day ...
could they reset the ticket?

I mean, I don't see how, but I suppose with enough election lawyers,
a trite national apology, anything is possible

Also worried about rising and falling public opinion. We're surging, Trump
is in the gutter. The press can manufacture anything, gaffes happen,
it's never a one-direction move in polling.

And a Trump October Surprise is expected, and those debates ... will
he be held to the rules for once?

Worries worries. Don't become complacent. Whatever you're doing for
the election, carry on, double-down, as if the history of humanity
depends on it. Because it does.

13. A witch hunt.

Trump's, and the Republican party's, attacks on Clinton are looking more and more like a witch hunt. We have a smart woman who is a better politician and understands foreign affairs better than men, so she must be a witch; she must be the devil. This is a dog whistle to all the religious nutcases out there who still believe, as people did centuries ago, that women are intrinsically evil. Hopefully people who still think this way are too small in number to give us President Trump.

Every day he just gets worse and worse.

He needs to be in a mental institution except I don't think anything works to cure a narcissistic sociopath. Since they think they are always right and everyone else is wrong it is impossible to help them.

someone or call them childish names. He has absolutely nothing of value to say or offer. Nothing. He is completely on the defensive now.

The problem with him is that he can't let ANYTHING pass. He has to respond to every single tiny criticism or insult that comes his way instead of taking the high road and shrugging 95% of it off like a mature adult.
