Elizabeth Warren Just Shredded Trump And Brought The GOP Nominee To His Knees

Source: Politicususa.com

Elizabeth Warren followed up her speech that dismantled Donald Trump with a series of tweets this afternoon that left the billionaire fumbling for childish insult and blown completely out of the water.

In a series of tweets, Sen. Elizabeth Warren unloaded on Donald Trump this afternoon:

If @realDonaldTrump actually believes every stupid lie he reads on the Internet, we’re in for a truckload of trouble if he’s President.

— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) May 25, 2016

-SNIP-

Democrats, like Warren, shrug off Trump’s playground taunts and keep coming and coming and coming after the billionaire. Donald Trump has never faced anything like what Democrats are going to be throwing at him.

Over the last 24 hours, Warren has shredded Trump in a major speech and on Twitter. The Republican nominee’s response has proven her correct. Trump is an empty-headed, selfish, buffoon who is unfit to be president.

Trump is a textbook case of NPD, and people with NPD have extremely thin skins because they are actually very insecure.

But it's precisely because of this disorder that criticisms like Warren's have NO EFFECT. Donald just rewrites reality to protect himself from the barbs and he makes things up to use as ammunition to fire back.

The bigger question is why his supporters don't see the NPD or why it doesn't bother them. Unfortunately, the more Trump is attacked, the more they dig in their heels. This won't make a dent in his support.

Warren is preaching to the choir.

As a US Senator she is not subject to term limits for herself (except those her constituency imposes at the ballot box), nor is she confined to the term of a president who appoints her. Most especially, she is not subject to the whims of people across the country who have no idea what she does or why, like the unfortunate Debbie Wasserman-Shultz.

Senator Elizabeth Warren is doing a helluva good job right where she is.

Governor Baker is a Republican and would appoint a Republican Senator to replace her.

Likewise, someone like Sherrod Brown of Ohio would face a similar situation.

We can't afford that. We need every Democratic Senator we can get.

He's too cool-headed for that.

However, that has been a double-edged sword for him.

On one hand, yes, it shows that he prefers logic and reason over the GOP/Limbaugh/Fux Noise/Lee Atwater playbook.

Conversely, it has sometimes made him seem unable/unwilling to stand and fight for Democratic principles, but I fear that has been the pernicious lingering influence of the DLC.

If Trump bullies his way into the WH, we are in for a WORLD OF SHIT!

Who knows...as I've said elsewhere, I live within walking distance of Canada. Maybe I can grab my wife and our cat and ask for political asylum in the Dominion. Justin Trudeau is certainly more reasonable than Stephen Harper. I could always appeal to Queen Elizabeth II, but she usually only acts on the advice of her Ministers of the Crown.

If Trump bullies his way into the WH I fear it may be our last "free" election and we may be well on the road to a one-party (de facto, if not de jure) state!

Elizabeth Warren has the sheer guts and moxie to fight Trump, and she stands for historic Democratic principles, not DLC/Third Way bullshit.

Why on earth she doesn't run for President I don't know. She would provide someone we could truly rally around.

Trump is more than a selfish buffoon. He is a corporatofascist on a par with Benito Mussolini in terms of sheer ego and sense of own self-importance.

However, I fear his disciples more than I actually fear him.

Would love to see her as VP, but we really need her in the Senate. I've heard some talk about Mark Cuban, as a possible VP. He's young, good looking, he's confident, not nasty, has a good sense of humor, and he's a self made millionaire, unlike Trump. Adding someone from the business world, would be a good counter to Trump.

In the meantime, thank you, thank you, Senator Warren, someone has to play Trump's game and she is awesome at it.
