Woman Shot Four Times in Road Rage Incident

Woman Shot Four Times in Road Rage Incident

The woman survived and managed to drive herself to a safe location

Published 3 hours ago

A Minneapolis woman was shot four times in what angry police officers called a road-rage incident like they’ve never seen, NBC News reported.

Police said the victim, a 39-year-old woman, honked at a Jeep when it cut in front of her on Tuesday. The passenger in the Jeep pulled out a handgun and fired four rounds into the woman’s car.

All four rounds struck her, but she survived and managed to drive herself to a safe location where someone called 911.

"My message would be: Stop the violence," Minneapolis Police Inspector Todd Loining said at a briefing on Wednesday. "Put the guns down. Put the knives down, and let's find a way to communicate to resolve our differences."

We've been squeezed to death for over 40 years now and encouraged to blame ourselves as the wealth we have all created has been vacuumed up by the 0.1%. There's a lot of hopelessness, isolation and free floating rage out there. Throw in the NRA's incredibly toxic gun propaganda and easy access and you're going to see a lot more of this.

At least she lived. The little 4 year old girl here didn't.

This narrative/explanation should be repeated when stories of senseless violence are reported. The more frustrated and angry we become, the more we destroy ourselves. This self destruction stems from the frustration created over our social and financial circumstances. The blame lies with those greedy 1% who have fixed the system to keep us from attaining any security and part of that effort is a well orchestrated campaign to promote hatred towards the poor, minorities and the vulnerable. Distract and blame others for our problems, while the 1% continue to fix the system and pick our pockets.

Many people are angry and frustrated. 99+% of them do not turn into murderers or attempted murderers.

Is it okay with you if an angry and frustrated person goes home and beats the crap out of his or her spouse? Gosh, maybe she or he frustrated the person, so they get what they deserve, I guess.

A criminal is a criminal. That person should be in jail and the key thrown away.

...in every conversation. Our obscenely unequal distribution of wealth does not account for road rage unless the victim is driving an elite vehicle worth $100,000. Nor does it account for cutting in front of someone and then shooting them for honking.

It happens all the time where you are. You can always google the different homicide rates if you want.

Someone is entitled to bail if they're not a flight risk or a danger to others, not because of how much someone is willing to pay.

My career was destroyed, went from managing 1,000 ppl. And being a leader in the liquidation industry...to living in my car, daughter abducted, eToy shareholder who joined my efforts had to soot/kill a career criminal he assisted, after turning down a Romney gang bribe..
.
And the PTSD called LAS (legal abuse syndrome) that occurs when one is finding judges, FBI agents, SEC and DOJ corrupt people laughing at you everytime I report another crim.
.
One justice said we needed prior approval to infirm her about the crimes and let those who confessed lying under oath..submit a forgery stating I waived $3.7 million...because I loved Mitt sooo much ..and gsve Romney our eToys for free
.
Judge said.."Not going to hear you" ...Getting back to Tweeter
.
INFURIATING
.
Moi did ask "who's in whose pouch here"
( still in the public transcripts)
.
The only time I considered getting retaliatory is when my partner broke my heart and said " everyone one else is sticking it to you...so I'm going to do it too _(broke my heart and I gained over 100 lbs in depressiin) ..and when they called me and said

"Your daughter's 1st and your son is next"
.
Shooting Romney or Blankfein or their partner (U.S. Attorney Colm Connolly) would only result in promotion of other oligarch lords to the top of their Wall Street ripping of, organized ladders.
.
Now...mind you...if the person had been in front of me...who said my son was next....thats different.
.
I wept and wanted it all to end then. Felt depressed that my family was harmed because I turned down the bribe and chance to be Mitt.s partner as a Bain roaming, rippoff, manager (lije Michael Glazer, Jack Bush or Barry Gold).
.
Havent seen nor held my family since the kidnap in 2004
.
As much as I wanted to fix my ex partner for abusing me so...after 8 years if my making him so much up the ladder
.
I couldnt make his innocent kid an orphan
.
It is sheer unmitigated gall to shoot at somebody
.
Have to believe there's more to this than meets the eye
.
Shot at her....4 TIMES... just because she blew a horn!?!??

Just sayin......

that show up within seconds of anything being posted regarding decreasing the ease with which people in general, and idiots, abusers, and lunatics for certain, can get their hands on increasingly more deadly weaponry. They show up in a flash, but conspicuously are persona non grata when the effects of their gun fetishist efforts come to fruition, like in this case.

Which is why I am still a bit confused by your posts. Are you saying that NRA types aren't a huge part of the gun violence problem in this country?

suggesting that this shooting was from an NRA member gone wild, which is almost certainly not the case.

as for the argument that more regulations will disarm the gangsters, we get the same argument here in Canada every time there is a random gang shooting in Toronto.

those shootings are almost always with prohibited semi autos (capacity, barrel length) smuggled in from the US or central america.

yet the typical gun grabber reaction is "bring back the long gun registry" (rifles and shotguns) ! brilliant !
