Canada school shooting: Shooter in custody after four people killed in Saskatchewan

Four people have been killed and another two are in a critical condition after a school shooting in western Canada.

It took place at the community school in La Loche, a mainly aboriginal community, 600 kilometres from Saskatoon in the province of Saskatchewan.

The shooter was taken into custody outside the school and police said they seized a gun.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who earlier said five people had been killed, described the attack as "every parent's worst nightmare".
