"This presidents foreign policy is the most feckless in American history."

GOP presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee condemned the Iran deal on Breitbart News Saturday, July 25, 2015.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) on Saturday invoked the specter of the Holocaust to criticize President Barack Obama for his decision to negotiate with Iran over its nuclear program.
This presidents foreign policy is the most feckless in American history. It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians. By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven," Huckabee said in an interview with Breitbart News.
The presidential contender, a social conservative who is seen favorably by Republican voters, has promised to rescind the deal with Iran on his first day in office.
"This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people. I read the whole deal. We gave away the whole store. Its got to be stopped," he said in the interview.
Huckabee currently polls at 5.6 percent in the GOP presidential primary, according to HuffPost Pollster:...........graph.....

Fourteen Defining
Characteristics Of Fascism
By Dr. Lawrence Britt
Source Free Inquiry.co
5-28-3
Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread
domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulation or control of elections.

For him that would be the worst thing imaginable: Jeb Bush's grandfather Prescott was a founding partner in Brown Brothers Harriman (aka "Skull and Bones South" because the majority of its founding partners were members of that Yale secret society) and was named in the Vesting Order the government executed to seize the bank after they were caught funding the German Nazis during World War II.

These conservative republicans are going to turn the USA into an international pariah for decades to come if they scuttle this. As well they should, a nation with leadership as stupid and venal as conservative Republicans deserves all that is coming to us!
When is it treason? And their plan to go to war with Iran ain't going to be a cakewalk. It will be another Viet Nam with a draft and a nice wall in D.C. with 55,000 names of patriotic young people that were sacrificed simply because those of Huckabee's ilk don't like the negro in the White House!

(5,376 posts)Here's what I found:
Did you know that most varieties of English are in fact feck-less? They dont contain a word feck, only the negative counterpart feckless. The feck in feckless began as a short form of effect used in the Scots dialect. So feckless essentially means "ineffective," but is also used to describe someone who is irresponsible, incompetent, inept, or without purpose in life.
Seems to pretty well describe Mike Huckabee, IMHO. Since there's no such word as "feck", guess I'd best not follow my instinct to say "feck you, Huckabee". Not only would it not make much sense, it wouldn't be very nice of me, right?

(113,043 posts)No sane person could claim that deal was a giveaway when nuclear experts are saying it is far-reaching and much more comprehensive than anyone had expected.
But, NWO Republican liars can't admit that. Just like they can't admit that the economy has improved.
They are desperate to blame and smear Obama with the 'worst' charge because they can't admit they stood side by side with the real 'worst' for 8 years.

(39,405 posts)And for that matter that we don't have THOUSANDS?
Israel has more than enough to retaliate against any nuke armed neighbor foolish enough to launch at them, and we have enough to wipe every country off the map several times over.
The only "threat" of a nuclear armed Iran (or any other country) is it would limit our and Israel's options for threatening, coercing, attacking or invading them.
Anything beyond that is pure PR bullshit.
yurbud
(39,405 posts)since they said Saddam Hussein would only need a softball sized quantity to blackmail the world and the very theoretical nukes of Iran are the equivalent of a new Holocaust for Israel.
By that logic, we could have our way with the world with maybe ONE nuke per country we want to bully.
That would save us a lot of money on maintaining our nuclear stockpile too.

(10,749 posts)Huckabee and his ilk have no interest whatsoever in Jews. None. Zilch. Nada. To the Huckabee crowd, Jews are hook-nosed shysters who run the librul media and Hollywood.
The only concern is with the state of Israel, which they need to exist in order for the rapture to occur. No Israel, no rapture. But if he puts it that way, he'll come across as even nuttier than he is to all but the most extreme of the religious fundamentalists.
I can appreciate how tempting it is to make the Nazi analogy. I've done it myself over the past decade, usually in referring to the Huckabee types. An article on Salon this weekend came close, though this piece simply called Trump a fascist.
The agreement with Iran is not only with the US but with five other superpowers. And it is not based on trust; it is based on verification. (Hey, that sounds familiar. I think it was saint Ron who said it first, trust but verify. And that was with godless communists.) Here's an analogy. Your wife may trust that you're not having an affair. Hey, it's easy to have an affair. But when she checks your phone, texts, e-mails, voice mails, FB page, instagram, and Twitter, she's verifying. Not so easy, hey? Let's see, even an idiot could understand that, but the idiots are reading that or hearing that because Huckabee and his fellow clowns lie.
And, finally, there's the Third Reich to consider. In the early 1930s they began the development of concentration camps. These may not yet have been part of the Final Solution, but their availability made it tons easier. Hitler had a plan - to rid the world of Jews. And Catholics. And Gypsies. And Homosexuals. Communities with these populations were emptied and forced into Ghetto enclaves. Eventually, they skipped the ghettos and went straight to the camps, where, when all was said and done, more than 11 million people were killed, 6 million of those Jews. It was a killing industry. And a successful one at that.
To attribute to President Obama the attitude and commitment to this sort of behavior is beyond contemptible. If there are words to describe how vile Huckabee and his ilk are, I don't have them.
And yet, notwithstanding expressions of outrage and contempt, Huckabee has already started doubling down on his vile assertion.

"I can see Russia from my house" (or whatever she said to that effect) was supposed to convince people that she knows about international relations!
"I stood at the door to the ovens at Auschwitz" is supposed to convince people the Huckster knows about the Iran agreement and what it really means!
Both are too stupid for words.
