Team USA clinches World Grand Prix championship with win over Brazil

Team USA hit the court Saturday night with the World Grand Prix Finals there for the taking, whether head coach Karch Kiraly and his players would admit they knew that or not.
Going ahead and handling Brazil in straight sets was solid proof the Americans cared about little other than beating one of their chief rivals.
I liked that we just kind of had a business attitude and just wanted to get it done, outside hitter Kim Hill said. We definitely took things point by point. And we had a lot of moments where we needed to refocus, and we did that really well, I thought.
There will be a trophy and medals waiting Sunday, no matter the outcome of the United States-China match at noon.

I'm going to the final round here in Omaha with my daughter, SIL, and 9.5 year old granddaughter that plays volleyball today for the trophies.
