Mitt Romney Piles On Trump For Savaging McCain, Trump Fires Back

Source: TPM

As a wave of Republican scorn washed over Donald Trump Saturday for questioning John McCain's status as a war hero, Mitt Romney joined in with praise for McCain and derision for Trump.

?@MittRomney

The difference between @SenJohnMcCain and @realDonaldTrump: Trump shot himself down. McCain and American veterans are true heroes.

Both men lost to Barack Obama, a fact Trump was quick to tout in returning fire toward Romney:

Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump

Why would anybody listen to @MittRomney? He lost an election that should have easily been won against Obama. By the way,so did John McCain!

That was really a moment to remember when Romney hosted Trump in the midst of Trump's racist rants then.

And now that one of the purposely released chickens has come home to roost and shit all over the place in faux righteous anger, now the chicken farmers deny all ownership!?

How the GOP is going to wipe off all that mountain of well deserved self created chicken shit is going to be interesting.

You knew it was only a matter of time (and in this case, not very much of it) before he started saying SUCH stupid shit that even the bat-shit crazies would start to flock away from him.

I mean, seriously ... going after McCain over the fact that he was 'captured' during war service, when YOU didn't even go and fight yourself? Are you friggin' KIDDING me? I can't stand McCain but not even I would stoop so low as to bash him for being shot-down and captured while serving our country. And Trump is supposed to be in the same party as McCain?

Nobody should need any further evidence that:
1) Trump is so stupid as to not be fit to run ANYTHING, or
2) His 'campaign' is a publicity stunt with no ACTUAL purpose other than to fuel his stupendous ego, or
3) Both of the Above

Almost positive that this will spell the 'end' for Trump's sudden rise in popularity ... the only question is whether or not this whole thing is cheap Kabuki Theatre.

Ducking away is Trump's Vietnam and presidential candidacy experience. And dodging creditors through bankruptcy.

Their strategy is to have so many candidates that several of them will be in the news every day.
K? Thats the strategy. Smother the airwaves with several feet deep of bullshit. Overwhelming the electorate. This will create a smokescreen the Jeb Bush will emerge from as if he was by accident or some bullshit he will choose Marco Rubio because they love Marco Rubio. . But the strategy is to be relevant.
He makes them all moot. You dont hear any news about any other republican, Trump is sucking all the air out of the room.
He is so much fun the media cannot , he is the train wreck candidate.
How long can he carry on? How much damage will he do ?

He likely would have won had he not thought Palin was so wonderfully qualified to be a heart beat away from the Presidency.

Romney is also a clown, while running claiming he doesn't care the least about nearly half of the citizenry.

Picking Palin lost him anyone who was "on the fence". Because as soon as he picked her, anyone who was concerned about his health said "So if something happens to him SHE becomes president??? Oh HELL no!!"
I thought he would pick Tom Ridge, which would have likely given him PA and a credible VP

Trump Says He Is Now Ready to Serve in Vietnam War as POTUS

WASHINGTON (The Nil Admirari): Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced today he was ready to serve in the Vietnam War. Trump said he received several deferments from the war for being too young to be command-in chief, but he has always had a strategy to win the Vietnam War and promised to share it only after he was elected president.

Yeah... Trump may have finally done something that will piss conservatives off... Maybe...
