That alone is a problem + he doesn't have any real name recognition.
If he is the nominee he has my vote. I just don't think it will work.

who is not from New England, NY or California. Those states already are guaranteed to go blue no matter what, and so long as we have an electoral college, we should be looking at the math. We need a candidate at the top of the ticket who can deliver a state or states that don’t necessarily go blue.

That does not seem to be a thing any more. If a state is red, they will not go for their own blue candidate. Party above state pride.

What red state would go for a Democrat from their own state? Texas? Who might it be that could cause that upset?

Swing states might be more likely. Ohio? Michigan, etc., who could possibly do that?

To name a few: Sherrod Brown from Ohio; John Hickenlooper from Colorado. I’m sure there are others that I haven’t thought about. As to Dems winning red states, look what happened last night.

Especially with anti-Orange Idiot backlash.

Colorado went blue last time, though.

Definitely ought to look at Ohio, the ultimate swing state.

The metro areas tend to go blue, along with the ski towns, and the rural areas red. It just barely went blue last time around.

He re-created the Obama coalition on steroids and won one of the reddest states on the planet.

I believe Cory Booker can do that. I believe Deval Patrick can do that...

Our future is in maintaining and building on the Obama coalition, not chasing our tails, begging Deplorables to vote for us.
