Tens of Thousands of Pics of Franken

Unlike some of the others, Franken has spent his adult life in front of cameras. There are no doubt literally tens of thousands of photos of him over the years, INCLUDING the "harassment" or "groping" incidents complained of recently.

Funny how, out of all the tens of thousands of photos of him and fans, not ONE of them shows him groping or trying to kiss an unwilling woman. Including the photos of the women who had recent complaints against him. Even those photos don't show him trying to kiss them or groping them, or touching boobs or rear ends. Funny, huh?

Just sayin'. A little investigation would have helped.

1. It was the perfect crime.

And it was aided by the gullible among us.

3. Yup. And they don't want to demand Trump resign either....

what is wrong with this picture?

Number of Republicans who asked Franken to resign = 0

It was all the Gillibrand and the lynch mob!

Eyes roll.

5. Excellent article. Particularly this paragraph:

That of the six accusers making allegations of clear sexual harassment which trickled out in the aftermath of the Tweeden firestorm, only two did so in their own name and, despite the fact that the events allegedly happened while being photographed with Franken, neither picture remotely provided evidence of what was alleged.

This is what I find striking. Because Franken, a COMEDIAN, played jokes, probably inappropriate jokes, with hundreds or thousands of people, took tens of thousands of pics iwth fans (at their request) - where you get up close to the people for the camera, to be friendly, and to appear to be chummy with the fan for the fan's family....none of those pics shows harassment or molestation or touching inappropriately.

With Franken, you have a pictorial account of his life.

7. What I think it is (and it's just a guess):

The most vocal ones that started the movement to oust Franken have presidential aspirations (or are supporters of those w/presidential aspirations).

Franken is arguably the most popular Senator in the nation right now, in large part because of his questions at the investigation hearings.

Franken is so popular that he has been asked to run for President (he has declined).

Franken gets a lot of tv time, requests for interviews. He's very popular.

Franken was sucking all the attention from wannabe Presidential candidates.

Jealousy followed.

Schumer noted that Franken wouldn't be the next Presidential candidate, and that his favorites weren't getting enough air time.

Now that Franken's out of the way, some of those several w/presidential aspirations are out on tv, basking in the glory (finally) that they deserve. No more Franken to get in the way. Now THEY can be the star. (But a problem with that is that...they haven't done anything particularly noteworthy.)

Problem solved. They think. We'll see if it works out for them.

11. I said it before & will now: I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.

And that's what got to his fellow senators.

They can also use this accusation issue as a campaign issue next year, saying...see? We got rid of our most popular senator in the face of allegations! The Repubs didn't! (except Franken, IMO, was TOTALLY INNOCENT of the charges.)

I saw one on MSNBC already using this argument. She didn't waste any time.

12. Agree for the most part.

I don't think Franken had Presidential ambitions, but I do agree that the NY Senatorial contingent along with some other Democratic Senators were jealous of Franken. He had, indeed, become a Giant of the Senate before this ratfking.
