My radio will play for one hour if not turned off.
Also, re: his phone call---A friend of mine will set the alarm on her cell phone when going on a date. She'll pretend to answer it and if she's not happy with how the date is going she'll tell the guy she has to leave right away due to a problem at home.

After all, when the cops called her, she said, "You've got the right person." He could have called her as he walked out the exit and blocked it open so he could return and start killing.
