Morning Joe Speculates Wildly About Trump's Health After #DentureGate: 'That Impairment is Chilling'

Morning Joe addressed President Donald Trump’s very-slurry Jerusalem speech, and the panel took to speculating wildly about his mental fitness.

The good folks at Morning Joe must have missed Mediaite’s investigation into Trump’s bizarre speech, which determined (inconclusively, of course) that his brief speech impediment was caused by his dentures trying to desperately escape from his mouth.

After playing a clip of the speech followed by a 1980s video of Trump speaking rather eloquently on world affairs, MSNBC analyst Steve Schmidt kicked things off by remarking this isn’t the first time the now-president is “clearly slurring his words.”

“I don’t know what the cause of it is,” Schmidt added, before noting that when the display is paired with alarming comments from Republican lawmakers questioning Trump’s fitness, as well as the rebuke of Trump from allies, “the question of his fitness, of his stability is in the air.”

“And it doesn’t get better when you see clear impairments,” he continued. “We don’t have updates on his health, we don’t know what’s going on… This is the man who commands America’s nuclear arsenal, and that video, that speech, that impairment is chilling.”

3. yeah, it is hardly "wild" to speculate

At best he broke a bridge or has the worst-fitting dentures ever... but it is obvious he has veneers on some teeth, so why not implants? I've always thought his tiny lower teeth looked unusual, though, which accentuates his "fish" mouth look.

But the range of serious health issues that could explain this, including drug reactions, ought to give his supporters some pause

4. I didn't hear any wild speculation at all.

What I heard was people being very careful with their words.

I heard them discuss that trump isn't getting the usual yearly physical examination. I heard Joe talking about his mother's condition (alzheimer's). He also said his mother does not have access to the nuclear codes.

They said, "If now is not the time to openly talk about this, when is?"
They said that privately, Republican after Republican Congressmen have told them the president is NOT STABLE!
