So has Nancy Pelosi called on Rep Blake Farenthold of Texas to resign yet?
If she is calling on Conyers to resign, but not Farenthold, who used $ 84,000 of taxpayer money to settle sexual harrassment claims, THIS IS WHY WE ALWAYS LOSE ON PUBLIC PERCEPTION!

In practice she leads only Democrats. She has no authority to call for a republican to step down.

a goner too, for something using public money to pay to hush up sexual harassment.

14. You're correct. Nancy is experienced enough to know what to say and WHEN to say it.
If she was an "eager" (or "hasty" or "impatient" or "immature" or "naive" or "high-strung" or "tightly-wound" or "inexperienced" or "foolish'') lawmaker... or if she was someone who was in too much of a hurry to make a name for themselves (or draw attention to themselves) then perhaps I could see that happening.
But, fortunately, she's none of those things. Instead, she's someone who's patient, intelligent, thoughtful, mature, measured, wise and experienced. She'll make the correct and smart decision in due time. ![]() |

He's too busy telling Conyers to step down.
He'll never, ever say anything about his OWN pedophiles, sexual assaulters, racists. Besides, they want that piece of shit tax bill to pass so that they can FINISH off what's left of a middle-class, poor people, old people, veterans, sick people, children and minorities. The only people they want standing are the 1% Club, and white males like themselves. |

28. My point is this:
Republicans play chess, Democrats play checkers.
With other Republicans sex scandals out there, why was Pelosi so quick to tell Conyers to resign? Politics is perception and the Democrats often are portrayed as WEAK. Explain this: Bush got out of Vietnam, into a champaign unit, and went AWOL. Kerry volunteered for two tours and earned a Purple Heart, yet was Swifboated as in unAmerican. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? |

30. Pelosi wasn't quick to call for Conyers to resign.
I heard criticism of Leader Pelosi from Democratic representatives and from both the right wing and left leaning media for being too slow to call for resignation.
