I think this is why Flynn is Cooperating... To save his son from years in federal and/or state prison.

A presidential pardon will not stop Justice. That is why Mueller has been working with state AG's.

Its a great day in America.

He can certainly try, but I am certain it would be litigated. I wish I was certain that it wouldn't stand.

In fact, you can't plead the fifth anymore. Pardon is Trump's only bargaining chip, but then he would have to trust Flynn not to spill the beans anyway. Trump doesn't trust anyone. And he stopped paying Flynn's legal bills, so what do you think Flynn thinks of Trump now?

Once Flynn agreed to cooperate and spill his guts, he became Trump's enemy.

If Trump dangled the promise of a pardon in front of Flynn, it would have been on the understanding that Flynn would keep his mouth shut.

To pardon him after-the-fact of his testimony would have no benefit for Trump - the damage will already have been done. And we know how Trump feels about "disloyalty" ...
