The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is just that...a government agency that (finally) PROTECTS CONSUMERS from CROOKED BUSINESSES. The types of predatory lenders that crashed the economy in 2008, and would do so again and again if they could make a buck from it.
Which is exactly why the plutocrats have tasked their GOP puppets to destroy it. They've been trying to destroy it from DAY ONE, when they blocked Elizabeth Warren from being its first head. Warren got her revenge by turning around and being elected to the Senate instead.
