New England Culinary Institute students provide relief to Meals on Wheels emergency ....

http://digital.vpr.net/post/giving-spirit-following-meals-wheels-freezer-malfunction-neci-pitches-restock

My son is a student at NECI and is currently in California doing a culinary Internship.. They learn so much more than how to cook....they learn to be a strong contributor to the community as well..

Great school.

4. Most of all..

They teach the students the importance of community involvement, how to coordinate such a crisis and make a difference....

Just like Jose's Andreas did in Puerto Rico....feed millions!

5. And compare that to Trump cutting the budget that provides significant funds to Meals on Wheels

It's almost like Trump's an asshat who doesn't care about people or something.

6. I sense the tRump cuts became a topic of discussion....

Apparently this food crisis left the people without any backup option beyond the community....

10. Great memories!

I wish I could move there and live a peaceful life. ..NECI molded our son into a man ...

Having a Chef in the family completely makes a bonded family....

8. Community service is an important thing for these kids to learn

It sticks with them their entire lives, if they start young and learn it well.

11. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things, happens frequently. God Bless Them.

But our leadership cannot get off their collective behinds and do the right thing for America.
