Wiki: hey Jr, leak us dad's taxes so we appear to be impartial.

Hey Don. We have an unusual idea,” WikiLeaks wrote on October 21, 2016. “Leak us one or more of your father’s tax returns.” WikiLeaks then laid out three reasons why this would benefit both the Trumps and WikiLeaks. One, The New York Times had already published a fragment of Trump’s tax returns on October 1; two, the rest could come out any time “through the most biased source (e.g. NYT/MSNBC).”

It is the third reason, though, WikiLeaks wrote, that “is the real kicker.” “If we publish them it will dramatically improve the perception of our impartiality,” WikiLeaks explained.

Damnit, if they're not all going to get nabbed in the coverup.

Yes I would think Russians cannot be charged, it would be futile. Irish_Dem Nov 2017 #5

So essentially Russia hacks into the US political system to promote Trump.
Uses WikiLeaks and Assange to publish the stolen material.
Don Jr. cooperates and assists, and he knows that material is coming from
Russia and he doesn't care. He and WikiLeaks plot to make WikiLeaks seem more credible.

Do I understand it correctly?

Assange is out of the country, can he be charged? Or someone else at Wikileaks?

Same with Assange.

Do Jr will be the one holding the bag.
What an idiot.

I believe she talked about everyone in the Trump WH and GOP politicians being part of this coverup over the summer.
