As Thanksgiving approaches, I would like to say how thankful I am

to live in Virginia.

To all the voters and the volunteers who worked so hard to get the vote out.

To Governor McAuliffe, who has so enthusiastically worked to do good things for all Virginians, and who has seized the election results as an opportunity to push once again for greater Medicaid participation under Obamacare, which the state legislators have thwarted to this point.

To all Democrats who ran for office, many more of whom succeeded than anyone predicted.

To MSNBC, the WaPo, the NYTimes and all other truth seeking and truth telling journalists.

And to DU!!!!

Since 1973.
I was born in Alexandria when my dad worked at the Pentagon for the USAF.
Virginia voters make me proud
To say it.
