Drag your Blue friends to the polls.
Lock your Red ones in the basement until the polls close. Lol.

I don't know what to expect. Our district is a mix of Ds and Rs. I'll report back in a couple of hours with the # of votes already and how that compares with past years.

and afraid of strangers and was hesitant to agree. I explained there are rarely lines out here (in the mountains West of DC) and how critical this election is, not just to us Virginians but our country. This is a pretty red area of the state, but getting a teeny bit better every year as folks retire from N.VA, as I did, and move out here. I've actually seen Dem signs! Told her every vote is critical. Happy to say she's voting too!!

Went early (6:15) to beat the rain. Didn't rain. Voted (at the time I was the only one there, except for the poll workers). Ballot tallied as #19. Celebrated with a wonderful cup of McDonald's beautiful foo-foo covfefe (made wonderfuller and beautifuller by the addition of some Irish Whiskey). Went to the bathroom.

Takes care of my schedule for the day.

First in line in Media Pa...please vote people! Remember "all politics is local" . Had to remind the polling people what time it was...their wall clock was slow!

I voted around 8 and was voter #46 in my red precinct. This precinct generally has good turnout being a bit more educated and richer than the surrounding area. There's also a contentious school board election that will likely boost turnout some.

I voted for all Dem statewide judges and local judges, no on retaining Republican state supreme court justice Saylor ( ) and no on the ballot question.

Not even a single local ballot measure. I've been reading anecdotal reports of big turnout in Arlington and Richmond Proper. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

My voting precinct has historically been 2/3 Repub but that may have changed. The whole county flipped from red to blue in 2008 at least in statewide and national elections.

I got to my regular polling place and the line was out the door. I estimate I waited about 10 minutes to vote. The elderly gentleman in front of me was a real Duck Dynasty look alike, down to the long beard. Imagine my surprise when I looked to see him holding a Democratic ballot. I so hope we get a good number of Democrats voting today! Our county will be red, but all votes for Dems here get added to those throughout the commonwealth.
