All Wayne did was repeat tired old FOX talking points and inject sarcastic laughter and "Oh my gosh/god" into your well-thought out discussions. Karanja (I hope I got the spelling right) was dead on, but he got caught up in the screaming match with Wayne while you just sat there waiting. You can always tell someone who knows he's out of ammo by that fake smile. I'd love to see you and Wayne in a regulated debate where his mike was cut while you were speaking, and obviously yours while he was speaking but that doesn't seem to be an issue.

Thanks for taking the time to do that. The shout-over talking points people just make themselves look stupid. It's nice to have intelligent and articulate people who can actually stay on topic and reinforce just how irrelevant everything people like Wayne blow out their asses.

Thanks, dude.

That kind of feedback is priceless. I love my fellow DUers, even those I get into heated arguments with from time to time.

When the Chernobyl disaster occurred, I was watching a news discussion and they had on two guys. The first looked like me (Tommy Chong) and the second looked like that Wayne guy. The Tommy Chong guy was laying out specifics and stated that we have two reactors in the US that are of the same design. The Wayne guy started every sentence with "I've been in the nuclear industry 35 years" and at one point actually said that the containment domes were designed to deal with a full core meltdown. I almost fell on the floor laughing. That's not even the POINT of containment domes. He talked all over everyone and just kept repeating the same lines over and over and over and over and over... Sound familiar?

Again, thanks for doing that.

political discourse. Its got to be so easy to be a Republican or Libertarian. You dont have to know anything, just repeat mantra about taxes being too high, the wealthy create all the jobs and thats all you have to do. If you cut taxes and the economy doesnt improve, it means you didnt cut taxes enough.

Rand and Norquist and those folks gave the right a hammer and now everything looks like a nail. They believe in this anti-tax thing like a religion even though it has never worked.
