3. Thanks...my youngest is in college...don't need a huge house...
I am determined to view this as a new chapter in our lives and not be sad. Hubs got a new job in Cleveland and the commute is killing him. So I am putting my house on the market when I finish a few things ...if it doesn't sell ...bad time ...then off until spring...the new house is a fixer up which will keep me busy and was cheap...two mortgages in our future but at least one is small.

I have four but two would be too wild.

So we bought a fixer uper small ranch/bungalow built in 1955...1500 square feet above and full basement.
![]() Kitchen reno on the horizon...we have Kraftmaid outlet near us. The opening you see is too a family room with fireplace. ![]() ![]() Living room we have forced hot air but they left the little baseboard. ![]() Bathroom other bathroom was completely stolen! but will fix it. You've got some work ahead of you but sounds like a good deal. I understand about the pets - I have a *few* dogs which limits my options but they're family and where I go, they go.

11. I wanted diversity. Ohio is very segregated in my current area.
I watched the video and it was people from everywhere...all colors and faiths. The true America in my opinion.

sad, but it needs work and has been vacant since 14 so the price was really good. We will redo it...keep my mind of the empty nest.

10. It's very cute! Sometimes I miss living in a small town. Right now we live in
a subdivision and the nearest town is a 10 minute car ride. When my daughter was little we lived in a small town that was really safe, and she and her friends could ride their bikes around everywhere. I think my son is missing out not having that. We are looking to move when my husband's contract here is up in the spring, and I will be looking for another small town.

Does your husband do temp work? Mine did . He is an engineer...got laid off a long term in late August. Check out Cleveland...nice place to live. Some good schools and jobs...reasonable housing.

14. He's a manufacturing supervisor. We received a huge relocation package when we moved here and
he had to sign a contract to do 2 years or we have to pay back the relocation money. We are actually considering Ohio- one of his former bosses works for a company there and has been talking about having him come work for him.

Ohio has jobs in the Cleveland area, Findlay which I really like also...towards Detroit, Columbus too. I like it...my husband got two jobs off of this recruiter...I don't know how old your hubs is but Ohio companies do hire older workers too.

but couldn't find one with that sort of atmosphere. We wanted a warmer climate so finally settled on a 55+ community in central Florida. I love it and there is some of those feelings and diversity here, but not nearly what I wanted. I'm so happy for you!

40 year career...tucked away...within walking distance of Downtown ...the pipes froze after the foreclosure so the bank has now completed repairs...worst damage was in the basement, but it is fine now.

30. The location is great. Close to interstates, 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland..
We have our challenges as an inner ring suburb struggling with unemployment and loss of tax revenue from closed businesses but there are far more pros than cons, imo.
The housing stock is affordable and full of charm. We have an appreciation of history and heritage, in fact if you haven't been there yet make sure to visit the Historical Society Museum on the Commons. They have a wonderful collection. |

to offer full price no contingency (bank owned they fix nothing anyway) to fight off the flippers...priced very well. But we lost one house before. I like this one better anyway.
