(10,252 posts)A. I wouldn't get caught dead on Fox News. B. I wouldn't get caught dead being interviewed by Tucker Carlson. C. Personal honor is a virtue. D. Some people are willing to tarnish their honor for money and fame.
It is a root downfall to fraternize with malevolent people. They should be shunned.

She seems to be aiming to undermine the democratic party.

(7,681 posts)But it somehow didn't when it was Louise Mensch, who actually works for Murdoch. That was okay.

(108,925 posts)who is openly conservative, though she did support Hillary in the election.
Wishy washy Democrats are less helpful to the cause of defeating Trump than never-Trump conservatives like Mensch.
Brazile has been saying disparaging things about Hillary and the Democrats. If Louise were to go on Fox, it would be to attack DT and his team.

(7,681 posts)But taking context into consideration would make that little gotcha game less fun, wouldnt it?
Some people go on faux news to perpetuate Russian and right wing propaganda and some go on to counter Russian and right wing propaganda (as much as faux will allow anyway). Donna Brazile will be doing the former.

(6,010 posts)whatever validates their opinions. Some of the ultra-hard left are as thick and unreasonable as tRump supporters, and not far off from right wingers.
Donna Brazile is nothing more than an opportunist and we need to move on from this stupid Hillary vs. Bernie idiocy and concentrate on giving the American public a palatable and believable alternative to the Republican Party in the 2018 midterms.
And before anyone starts to get on his/her soapbox about this, I supported both Bernie in the primary and Hillary in the general election... because I knew full well what the alternative was.

(50,170 posts)What if Fox viewers were exposed to lots of Democrats? If enough could get on and speak up it might wake people up. Maybe Donna will throw in a few "Hillary isn't Satan" remarks which would be a good thing. You have to start somewhere.

(30,481 posts)Brazile can hold her own. I know recent events say otherwise but she is competent. I have always respected and appreciated how Steven Lesser does when on Fox. Its clear he is free to speak his mind and he does so well.
Brazile is selling books. She wont be selling them to Tuckers audience. She doesnt have to cater to his viewers, though she might.

(22,911 posts)Brazille has been a loyal and hard working Democrat for a long time. She certainly wasn't a Sanders backer during the nominating process. Right now I don't know what to make of all of this. Donna knows her way around the DNC and it is hard to fathom how she could be so off in regards to what is standard vs unusual candidate agreements. Here's who she's been:
"She is a member of the Democratic Party, briefly serving as the interim chairperson for the Democratic National Committee in spring 2011, and assumed that role again in July 2016, until February 2017.
She was the first African American to direct a major presidential campaign, acting as campaign manager for Al Gore in 2000. She has also worked on several presidential campaigns for Democratic candidates, including Jesse Jackson and Walter MondaleGeraldine Ferraro in 1984, and for Dick Gephardt in the 1988 Democratic primary."
I wrote an earlier post saying I was concerned over some aspects of Donna's allegations if verified. That verification is now lacking and documentation has been produced to refute it. Because Brazille started this round of controversy, it is up to her now to substantiate her claims that anything improper occurred. It's possible there is still more to this story than has yet been reported that explains her claims, but right now it is up to her to substantiate that or apologize and issue a correction to her earlier claim.
For the record, what I know of her (I had some extensive dealings with her in 2004) is that she is a genuine Democrat and not primarily into politics for the money as her motivation. Right now she is not looking good on this at all.
