All the news is about terror in new york....over analyzing it and completely dropping the Russia story that they were covering for the last few days...even Anderson is hyper ventilating about terror in new york while reporting from the streets of new york

(27,813 posts)I've had CNN on in the background for several hours now, and their "coverage" is a never-ending exercise in speculation.
"This guy might have ...," "this guy could be ...", "this guy is probably ..." - ad nauseum.
Thus far, HOURS of interviews with people on-the-scene describing the same thing - over, and over, and over again: "I saw the truck", "I didn't know what was happening", "I was so scared".

(6,788 posts)did a decent amount on the Manafort and Clovis stories. Definitely, no hyperventilating on the NYC incident.

(424 posts)But not at the cost of ignoring all other news which is as important. The።opiod crisis is killing far more people every week but you dont see a wall to wall coverage on it. The lives of the victims of this crisis are as important as the terror victims. Balance was what i was getting at.

(3,568 posts)An tragedy occurs and they overreact, massively. Obviously this is an important event that deserves significant coverage, but not exclusive coverage.
