...if I were an FBI agent involved in arresting someone who was part of or in the current administration..I'd be shitting in my underwear. This is something that could bring the current government down...right or wrong. This is the essence of a Banana Republic...but despite being trivial there...were talking about a nation that is one of the "big dogs".

Going forward with this, its going to shame the country and reduce our influence..but at the same time, not doing so, may cause even more damage. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Now granted, I think Dump should go, but I'm in the easy position...they are not. To work in the FBI you have to patriotic and a pure believer in the democratic process....to take the position that it failed, it has to be gut wrenching.

6. It's sad, but if they don't do something eventually they will be told to arrest innocent people

on behalf of the fascists. I think part of the story coming out the way it did was it would allow the authorities to observe the behavior of rats who thought they might be cornered.

Personally my bet is the charge will be against a small fish, for lying to the FBI or grand jury-to set an example for the others and let them know lines they thought were secure were not.
