Chafed Neo-Nazi Richard Spencer Thinks University of Florida Students Were Mean to Him

He truly is the darling of the alt-right. But when chanting University of Florida students shut down his speech there last week, Neo-Nazi Richard Spencer couldn't wail loudly enough about how mean they all were, even depriving him of his freedom of speech. That said, I would like to take a brief moment to inform poor Mr. Spencer that his mistreatment in Gainesville is minor when compared with the way Americans used to deal with Nazis. The picture below being a good example of that.

2. You should include the context for that photo

I don't believe US military MPs used firing squads against Nazis they captured without some judicial procedure. While I know there were exceptions, it is with great pride that most WWII veterans honored the Geneva Conventions--even with Nazis. Even with the horror of My Lai and similar events in Vietnam, I think we typically held firm to those principles. The RW and their so-called War on Terror has eroded, but not ended those principles.

6. Actually no

The picture is of Manfred Pernass, a German spy caught wearing an American uniform behind US lines during the Battle of the Bulge.

9. You appear to be correct and I apologize.

Google image claimed it was Slovik. Again sorry.

11. I'd actually like to meet him, as a matter of fact.

Because it's hard to punch someone in the face when they're a thousand miles away and hiding behind their throng of enablers.

12. Spencer likely believes

That UF students should have been required to listen to his evil speech, and cheer loudly.

I'm sick of people who whine about their free speech being violated, when they're really mad about people disagreeing with them.

13. He exercised his right to speak

The students exercised their right to speak as well.

You see, Mr. Spencer, no one is obligated to listen to you.
