The Post article says flatly no one received a million dollars. It quotes an employee of Flynt stating some people were paid "in the six figures" but offers nothing to back that up.

The Vanity Fair article includes the relevant observation:

Nothing much turned up, at least that became public. (Flynt does have a McCarthy-like habit—or maybe it’s Barnumesque—of insisting he has ripe, drippingly scandalous goods he can’t quite show yet.)

Livingston is one case. I sent him details about Republican Congressman J.C. Watts having an illegitimate child he never admitted to nor supported financially. Flynt later outed him and Watts had to admit to it. His career was never the same. I think there were other cases.
