Fox News sent Steve Doocy's baby boy to interview John McCain today...it was NOT pretty.

PETER DOOCY: Has your relationship with the President frayed to the point where you are not going to support anything that he comes to you and asks for?

JOHN MCCAIN: Why would you say something that stupid? Why would you ask something that dumb? Huh? My job as a United States Senator, as a Senator from Arizona which I was just re-elected to, you mean that I'm somehow going to behave in a way that I'm going to block every because of some personal disagreement? That's a dumb question.

The version that ran on Fox News was ever so slightly edited...

to be a total Trump suck-ass, and got it rammed down his throat. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving shit-head "reporting" for a more shitty network.

As pizzed as we all may well be for putting Sarah Failing on a national stage, he does seem to be stretching up to smell the true air of what is going on.

With you - hope he puts it to good use and seals a legacy of doing the right thing.

At the end of an answer to Kasie Hunt's question about Trump 'fighting back', McCain said he did not want to confront President Trump, he wanted to work with President Trump. Very professional, politic statement.

Then the fool from Fox sprung his canned question as if he had not been standing by McCain when he answered Hunt.

I've been watching for MSNBC to post the real clip. I think this shortened one was apparently put up by a RWNJ.

And frankly Doocy’s Son was a moron for asking such a dumb ass “gotcha” question....the question was asked in the hopes of illiciting a response from McCain, and he provided it...just not the way they were anticipating!

Since 45 has made petty personal vendettas part and parcel of Washington DC politics now it actually isn't all that dumb a question.

Offensive, certainly. Offensive to assume that McCain would be as petty and self-serving as 45 but not out of the question for many, many GOP Senators and Congress Critters.

I mean, it can be a dumb question in two ways - 1. Do you think that I'm petty that I would do that? And 2. Of course I'm that petty - why would you even ask that?
