President Trump said Tuesday that Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.) is withdrawing his name from consideration as the nation's drug czar.

"Rep.Tom Marino has informed me that he is withdrawing his name from consideration as drug czar. Tom is a fine man and a great Congressman!" Trump tweeted.
The withdrawal comes after a Washington Post-60 Minutes investigation suggested he led a bid to weaken enforcement of the nation's drug policing laws.
