BREAKING: Trump to stop making vital Obamacare subsidy payments

The White House will stop paying vital subsidies that offset the costs for insurers of covering lower-income people, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed in a statement Thursday.

“The Department of Health and Human Services has concluded that there is no appropriation for cost-sharing reduction payments to insurance companies lawfully under Obamacare,” Sanders’ statement said.

6. I know it IS late. I live in CA so I saw it when watching the news.

I thought that today was already really shitty but this late night news (and not on a typical Friday night news drop) has put me over the top. When Ali Velshi announced it I thought I was interpreting it incorrectly. It took a full 5 minutes for it to sink in that it is really happening. I have been dreading this since last year. It gets worse and worse. We can't take it anymore. I support a coup at this point.
