Facebook has replaced FOX as the Republican medium of choice.

And it is more pronounced now than it was a year ago, before the election, in my opinion. It presents a huge challenge for Democrats.

Until the last election, it could be argued that Democrats held a good advantage over the Republicans, on social media. Obama raised a lot of money over Facebook.

The posters on Facebook make shit up. It is a propagandist's dream. They get to spout out all kinds of shit they have learned on talk radio over the years. If they are not challenged, then it is imprinted on their malleable brains as the "truth".

With Facebook, they have found a new toy.

Facebook could divide them into two separate parts, perhaps by Party affiliation? Or they could be challenged more on their suspicious "facts"? Or they could be separated into three parts, with those that wish to be identified as "centrists"? Every Facebook poster could have the option of choosing whichever part they would like to be part of? Or they could be ignored? (This space reserved for open ideas.)

How could this problem be handled?

(On edit) They have declared war on the Democrats and liberals. It is a divisive trait that they seem to relish? The divisiveness may be harmful but they don't seem to care??

to target ads to those folks, and those facebook posts have to be compelling and speak to them as Christians.

liberals have not called for and begun a boycott of Facebook. We have successfully boycotted many things before.

If the resistance is not willing to sacrifice something that is purely a peripheral luxury like facebook, then we have already lost.

If we truly can not live without a social media platform, why don't we get smart... and rich... and crowd source a new one?

Actually, as an artist and an author who refuses social media... I'm a pretty lousy capitalist. LOL.
I have a niece who is an IT specialist and she is constantly hammering me about it.
Have a good one.

times worse. Everything will be a lie, BS, fake, fabricated, false, innuendo, propoganda, Russian, alt-right, made-up, contaminated and on and on! Humans are the most gullible creatures that ever walked any planet and will believe just about anything regardless of how absurd. This is a huge problem that will change the outcome of elections into the future unless something is done. Americans thrive on so-called reality TV which has nothing to do with reality.
