2. Seriously? I dont think there's an issue that has MORE governing legislation than "guns".

Maybe drug laws? But there oodles and oodles of city, county, state, and federal laws that are putting restrictions on guns. We may need more and/or better gun laws, but there's certainly already tons of laws restricting them.

There's even decades old organizations you should look into joining: Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Brady Campaign, Violence Policy Center, etc...
