...that even dead, he will still remain a disaster...

Someone should suggest him cremation.

Otherwise, be prepared to a great pollution. The kind of pollution that occurs when high-level radioactive waste is not properly managed.

Unfortunately, it will take years before he can be put behind bars. He will croak long before a prison sentence is declared. Hopefully, all the appeals will drain whatever $$$$ he has.

What's brewing off the right margin, in those African deserts we can't see?

Did I mention that our Tampa Bay-area mobile home, barely 4 feet above sea level, was totally unscathed? Even our "picturesque" old dock with its rusty old tin roof was untouched. The day before Irma arrived, she sucked much of the water out of the bay, and instead of returning it as part of a 9-foot surge, she dumped it somewhere else.

Such an incredible miracle that I feel like it has to be a once in a lifetime thing, involving a 55-year-old mobile home used for vacations. Not that we aren't very glad; the entire park would have been destroyed, land, infrastructure, everything, and with it an investment we really, really couldn't afford to lose at our age.

Enjoy. On the porch while it rains is one of my favorite places to be.
