Those Who Are Protesting the NFL players...

I have been hearing lots of republicans on TV protesting the NFL players because they don't think kneeing the flag on a sports field is the way to do it. They say that if you want to protest police brutality, then do it another way and somewhere else, not on the field. Well, black people tried to protest another way with Black Lives Matter, and you came down on them for that, too! So, republicans, it's not the act of kneeing the flag that you don't like....it's the subject of what the protesters are protesting about, that you don't like!

with all this "protest". They waste time counter posting on FB and so on, feigning outrage over a lot of nothing. It's the same people who defend nazis and white nationalists.

That's one of the reasons this is called a protest. It is outside of normal business. If this was a part of what they were getting paid for it would simply be par for the course.

"They think players are getting paid to pay, and not be political. "

Agreeing with that sentiment, which is correct, does not make one opposed to the act itself. Then again, I think I know of whom you speak. They are absolutely against the act.

I should say, they think because the players are getting paid to play football, they have no right to be political.

But yes, exactly.

Ie, can you engage in political protest at your job? You might say yes when your Catholic priest wears a rainbow t shirt. Or no when a high school teacher does a Sieg Heil in home room.
