and Millennials are just generally not interested in racing. A lot of them aren't interested in driving, at all, it's too expensive and their social life is online, now.

It might sputter on where it started, in Dixie and parts of the Midwest, but as the petroleum engine is phased out in favor of electrics or other systems, NASCAR will slowly fade away. Geeks with meters just don't have the same cachet as oil spattered gearheads.
