Antwan Boulden made a great speech about inequality
Trent Dilfer said his opinion has changed over the last year after talking to current players about what this is really about. He said to Randy Moss beside him - I didn't grow up in the same world you did. Moss ending up shaking his hand and thanking him for learning.
Moss then said that Kaepernick stood or rather knelt FOR THE PEOPLE. He offered his complete support for Colin.
Charles Woodson directly but non-confrontationally took Rex Ryan to task. "It's not against the military. That's a false narrative that was created to miss the point about people here. Yes these soldiers go overseas to fight for this country but using th rights they fight for is the ultimate respect. But we have to say 'What about the people here?'" -- paraphrased. He went on to describe several cases with out mentioning names. Men being shot in the back, choked on the street for selling cigarettes, an altercation at a convenience store and a man ends up dead in the street uncovered for hours. "Everyone sees that. That optic"

Among the other things our servicemen and women have fought and died for is the right to assembly and peaceful protest.
