Our houses may not be White or grand, but NBA champions are welcome to stay at them, express themselves, and build communities when they visit!

In fact the start of the next basketball season is actually coming up here ... so WHY exactly are we talking about this NOW?

Doesn't a team normally visit the WH (if they're going to go) shortly after they actually win their title, as opposed to right before the NEXT season starts?

And why does the Warriors letter talk about going to DC in February (I assume that's 2018)?

Totally confused re: the timing of this whole thing.

The Warriors won the 2015 championship in June and visited the White House when they next played in D.C., which was February 4, 2016.

Good for them. I don't follow basketball at all, but I because of this I like the Warriors.
