3. McCain doesn't give a shit anymore

We all seem to give him credit for being a POW, and that's his get out of jail free card for a lifetime. But I've read that he wasn't all that much of a pilot, and, really, he hasn't been all that much of a maverick. Notwithstanding the buffoon's POW insult, McCain is still a hardcore Republican, whatever that means these days, and, apart from that, he cares about only one thing: John McCain. I do think McCain being pow in Hanoi regardless if he was a good pilot. He was shot down and tortured and held captive at that time in his life and what I read he conducted himself very honorable. 7. McCain knows the extent of the Trump-Russia scandal.

He is the guy who hand-delivered the Steele Dossier to the FBI. He knows exactly what Trump et al did.

I'm certainly no fan of McCain, but he knows his party will deal with the consequences of Trump for a long time to come.

8. McCain has proven to be a maverick in the past. Could be that he

has read the bill and realises what a **** sandwich it is for the American people. He used to be that way on the economy but the GOP snowed him with trickle down as he was running for President. Could be that as he faces mortality he reconnected with the maverick he once was.
