Cost of medical care in June climbed 0.7%, highest gain since 2010

The cost of seeing the doctor or going to the hospital for Americans has been rising steadily throughout the year, never declining in negative percentage as other measures of inflation sometimes do (up 4.3% for the past 12 months).

Employers will like see another year of more than 8% increase medical trend this year. Medicare increases have been consistently lower than employer increases year after year
