PFFFFFFFFT, Hillary. Like anybodys going to read her dumb book, which we ordered today. Probably just gonna give it to the Wonka-dog and watch her judgmentally refuse to even chew it up, since its probably just a bunch of secret Goldman Sachs speeches anyway.
Anyway, Vogue has a really nice new excerpt! (Click here for the last excerpts we wrote about!) In it, H. Rodham writes about her marriage to B. Clinton, why she hasnt acceded to many peoples requests that she divorce him, and what it was like having him by her side in the hours after she lost the election. (Those are our quotation marks, lest one of the self-appointed arbiters of Hillary Clintons behavior find himself in a tizzy because SHES NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILI-TAH!!!!@!!1!!1benghazi!!!!)
Not only is Hillary Clinton not divorcing Bill Clinton, she says shed make the same decision she made in 1975 to marry him if she had it to do all over again. And dont worry, because its DEFINITELY your business, she addresses the elephant in the room, assuming were in a 1990s room with an elephant.
I know some people wonder why were still together. I heard it again in the 2016 campaign: that we must have an arrangement (we do; its called a marriage);
By which she means fuck you.

I doubt the naysayers really care about book sales or book tours. Hillary's not running again, so they've won.

(10,824 posts)Be so resilient, refuse to be silent and live her life on her own terms. No wonder the press, the myriad of pundits and GOP screechers hate her. They cannot crush her or make her go away. She will not beg forgiveness. She does not need redemption or hand-holding or strokes to her ego. She will not dress in sack cloth and ashes or commit hari-kari for the satisfaction of others.
She just keeps on, keeping on. Dangerous, scary, defiant woman.
And this is why her supporters love her.

How any of these people manages to breed is beyond me.

(17,606 posts)...I once ordered a ted cruz coloring book for a gag and in my review I posted that it was a great gag gift and amazon pulled my review saying it was harmful or insensitive or something. we need to ask amazon to pull reviews from folks who don't have a verified purchase of the book. that's their policy!

(27,794 posts)I'm absolutely staggered by some of the really awful things I read, especially when they clearly violate the terms of service. A lot of newspapers have gotten really lazy and just use Facebook comments, and they don't monitor them in the least.

We should all do the same - go on Amazon and give her book 5 stars.
I'm going to.

(16,950 posts)generating. She was far too kind and accepting of the absolute smut garbage thrown at her in the name of political campaign dialogue, but it was just pure trash and lies. Glad she's giving it back -- no rules anymore. Give 'me hell, Hillary!

After the book is a HUGE bestseller, shel'll be castigated some more for "profiting from her loss," which was all her fault in the first place.

What's funny is how little activity there is on the Russia Today threads about the news that RT "employees" have to register as Foreign Agents, lol, So profits are just fine for those anti/Hillary Thom Hartmann types after all! Double standards for Hillary, of course.

(217 posts)Many if not most of the women I know did not like or vote for Hillary, and those that did, did reluctantly, for not the same reasons as men. In fact, overall, 54% of women voted for Clinton, much higher than the 42% of women who voted for Trump. But when the womens vote is divided by race, it becomes clear that black women actually largely drove the so-called gender gap against Trump. Way to go white women! While I was hoping for a better candidate, understanding that the republican hate machine made her a vulnerable candidate, I realized voting for anyone else besides Hillary would be a disaster. BUT why are we wasting time rehashing the election? A true waste of energy and resources that will not help us in the coming elections.

(5,801 posts)If you feel reading a book is a waste of your time, then by all means don't read it. I was thinking of reading another book or two next month. I guess I'll never be able to do anything with my life again with all this wasteful book reading I do.
