Can't believe we have to hear refresher courses for basic traffic rules. Apparently it is a real problem. Pass it on: stop at blinking yellow intersection - first one at light goes first; if you get there at the same time as another car, car on far right goes first.
Blinking yellow, proceed with caution-that doesn't mean race through it!

(12,693 posts)A flashing red light, makes the intersection a four-way stop; a flashing yellow, makes it a yield, not a stop.
Of course it is a real good idea to stop or at least slow way down, but you don't have to stop.
Of course I'm basing this on CA vehicle code, your rules may vary.
