Christian Bale to portray Cheney in upcoming movie

http://jezebel.com/christian-bale-bleached-his-eyebrows-gained-weight-to-1801181910/amp
"Christian Bale, known for the extreme physical transformations he sometimes undergoes to perform challenging roles, bleached his eyebrows to play Dick Cheney. His eyebrows are actually way blonder than Cheney’s now; true commitment. He also appears to have put on some weight. Bale is now physically incapable of smiling, feelings of remorse.

This new, dowdier version of Bale debuted at the Telluride Film Festival this weekend, where he’d traveled to do press for his upcoming film Hostiles. The Cheney getup is for a different forthcoming movie, Backseat, which also stars Amy Adams as Lynne Cheney, Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush, and Steve Carell as Donald Rumsfeld. That last casting choice especially baffles me, as I associate Carell with playing characters who are funny, sad, or both, none of which are acceptable ways to play Rumsfeld, in my opinion.

Anyway, I can only hope that in ten years this current administration will be long gone and Christian Bale will be attending film festivals looking like he bathed in Orange Fanta and got hand reduction surgery."

just as Cheney did. For that act alone, Cheney deserves to burn for all eternity. One almost wishes there really were such a place as hell, just to accommodate Cheney, who is, outside of tRump, the most evil American citizen in recorded history.

2. Steve Carell as Steve Eisman in "The Big Short"

Christian Bale was in that film, too. As real life Michael Burry, the one-eyed Aspergers neurologist physician who saw the meltdown -- before it happened -- and bet against the system.

And Steve Eisman, who was also way ahead of the game.

Read The Big Short Michael Lewis' narrative of the economic meltdown is an extraordinary and highly educational read. The film is damned good, too. Except they changed the names of some of the characters. Steve Eisman, the entire soul of the narrative, was inexplicably named Mark Baum in the film, when every fucking person who read the book knew that this was fucking Steve Eisman! And Michael Burry was... Michael Burry! Why does Stupid Hollywood do this crazy shit?

Nevertheless, just read the book. It's a really, really great read. The film's good, too.

I look forward to this film as well. I like Bale and Carell.

5. Carrel played the billionaire that shot the wrestler

After he had started a personal wrestling group and sent some to the Olympics, I think he did a great job in that film.

Slimy, strange, almost gay ( not putting down gays ) with a not quite defined agenda, his portrayal was very unsettling and he didn't seem to follow any stereotypical character lifted from another film which you would think was easiest.

I think he has a lot more depth and talent yet to be seen.

Great film and shows how old money lives a different life than everybody else.

Of course their money came from black powder used in bullets and other chemicals, I remember when it happened so I watched the movie when it came out.

The best acting is when you don't see the actor, you see the person being portrayed, he got that dead on, I didn't see Carrel once in that movie, I saw John DuPont.
