Just To Be Clear, Republicans

Despite your attempts to spin pResident Idiot’s actions and statements into anything other than the complete bullshit they are, no one’s buying – other than the oft-referred-to “Trump base”, which is shrinking by the day.

Just a few of the statements we’ve heard from you:

“Trump is governing in his own unique style.” NO. Constant displays of incompetence, stupidity, and wilful ignorance of how our government works is not a “style” – it’s a demonstration of how an unhinged, dumb-as-shit narcissist operates.

“Trump tells it like it is.” NO. He “tells it” the way he wants people to believe it is – from the size of his inauguration crowd to the size of his dick. He’s up to over a thousand lies that have been documented during a scant seven months in office – and we’re still counting.

“Trump is focused on the Republican agenda.” NO. Trump is focused on his own agenda, which is to stay out of prison for treason against the country he pretends to “lead”, and/or laundering money for our nation’s enemies.

“Trump gets frustrated when Republicans in congress don’t work towards accomplishing his goals.” NO. Trump simply blames his own failures on everyone else. His only “frustration” lies with those who refuse to carry water for an obvious idiot, and his only “goal” is looking like he knows what he’s doing when he so obviously doesn’t.

“Trump ‘messed-up’ when he spoke after Charlottesville.” NO. He didn’t ‘mess-up’; he blatantly and without hesitation equated patriotic Americans opposing white supremacists, the KKK, and anti-Semites with those propagating racism and bigotry. He was extremely clear – no need for you to try to ‘splain it.

“Trump was elected by the American people.” NO. The American people elected Hillary by over three million votes. Trump was “elected” by an archaic electoral college system that thwarted the will of the citizenry. The majority of the American people chose NOT TO ELECT a lying, racist, bigoted pig – so stop pretending they didn’t vote AGAINST your brain-dead Idiot

“Those who dislike Trump should at least respect the office he holds.” NO. Trump should respect the office he holds – and he clearly doesn’t. So why should anyone else? When the so-called “pResident” literally shits on the presidency, and uses that office to disgrace the country on the world stage, asking for anyone to “respect” him is beyond what most people can stomach.

“Trump is a popular president.” NO. I guess you’re not familiar with polls, or how to read them. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help – there’s every chance you are as illiterate as your “pResident” and need assistance with reading comprehension.

“Trump is a strong leader.” NO. He was too spineless to stand up for his own Jewish daughter and grandchildren in the face of the anti-Semitism displayed in Charlottesville, but instead called those shouting “Jews will not replace us!” while waving Nazi flags as “fine people”. Strong leader? Well, if you consider kissing the asses of Nazis “strong”, along with kissing Putin’s ass on a daily basis, I guess you’ve got yourself the “strong leader” you rightfully deserve.

“Trump is working hard for the American people.” NO. He’s working hard to line his own pockets between tweets, screaming at the TV, and planning his next golf game. The American people aren’t even a vague consideration.

“Trump is a smart and savvy businessman.” NO. He built his financial empire by inheriting money he never earned, bilking workers and his “university students” out of their money, and outsourcing his manufacturing jobs to low-wage countries. He’s also seriously in debt to our nation’s enemies. A “smart and savvy” businessman doesn’t repeatedly lie about things that are easily debunked, doesn’t deny saying things that are a matter of record, and doesn’t tweet “covfefe” (aka bullshit) in hopes of distracting attention away from the mounting evidence that he colluded with the Russians.

“Trump is a good Christian.” NO. “Good Christians” are not lying, self-proclaimed pussy-grabbers – I could go on about what “good Christians” are or aren’t, but one need only hear what Trump stands for to be reminded of everything that real Christians pride themselves on standing against.

“Trump is a patriot who loves his country.” NO – unless you’re talking about Russia being ‘his country’, in which case I’d have to agree that he loves THAT country. His own country – not so much.

“Trump loves ALL Americans.” NO. Trump loves Americans who AREN’T black, Asian, Mexican, female, disabled, Muslim, an immigrant, gay/lesbian/trans, and/or principled citizens with functioning brains who aren’t falling for his con job, and have the spine to say so.

A popular meme of late is ”You don’t like Trump, so you’re just trying to make him look bad.” NO. He’s making himself look bad – repeatedly, consistently, and without respite. When it comes to looking like an asshole, he requires no assistance from anyone – in fact, it appears to be his one and only skill.

So give it a rest. Trying to frame incompetence as “style”, blatant lies as shooting-from-the-hip, and tweeting and playing golf as “working hard for the populace” is beyond weak – it’s downright laughable.

I don’t know if you’re “tired of winning” yet (cue laugh track) – but surely you’re tired of putting lipstick on this particular pig.

This is bookmarked, and I'll save it until the jackass is forcibly removed from the Oval Office. Then, I'll dig up ALL the pro-sTrumpet stuff I can find, and invite the neighborhood (which is NOT in support of the "orange toupeed shitgibbon&quot for a combination bonfire and pig roast!

Kegger, ribs w/my homemade fabulous BBQ sauce, and all the trimmings. You're all invited, and I'll cook even if it's 40 below!

You really are a grand slam winner with this one, NanceGreggs. We'll invite Serena, too!

My concern is what this says about America. Trump was elected. Around 30% or slightly more approve of him.

Racism? Stupidity? Fox Propaganda?

My feeling is racism plays the biggest part. After 8 years of "suffering" through the presidency of the best president in my lifetime, some needed a white man to be president. To prove how superior whites are.

Maybe I should believe in stupidity as much as racism.

In any case, great post! God help us all (I am agnostic)!

... the power of stupidity.

The people who voted for Trump because he was going to "bring jobs back to the USA" are proudly wearing MAGA hats with "Made in China" labels.

I am not terribly smart. Still, I believe a large part of his supporters would see this hypocrisy in a Democrat.

Hate is based on stupidity. I contend hatred or racism motivates and blinds them to facts that are clear to any that care to look.

I like your posts a great deal Nance.

“ The majority of the American people chose NOT TO ELECT a lying, racist, bigoted pig – so stop pretending they didn’t vote AGAINST your brain-dead Idiot "

My fav- this needs to be screamed from rooftops everyday. I don't consider him validly elected even and call this monster the fake prez.
