a former computer programmer, Mercer was a founder of a firm that started the trend of technical analysis of the markets (program trading). His hedge fund did very well for itself and the many billions of dollars they managed.

Simons retired in 2009, but is still chairman and Mercer's boss. Simons donates to democrats. Mercer is responsible for much of the firm' success with his brilliant trading strategies.

and his Algorithm he developed is killer. And the data mining he has been able to prove is what should scare the bejeebers out all Americans. His ability to put his ideals in your mail box or e-mail should shake you to your quick.

Believe he has since sold a large part of this business to a Russian Firm who also does data mining.

Precision propaganda. There should be some term for it. We have personalized medicine tailored to a person's genome. They're doing the same with propaganda. Precision marketing delivered to everybody's personal Facebook page.

Does your Facebook history show that your grandchild and college friends are battling cancer? A fake story starring Trump donating to St. Jude's is delivered to your feed. And so is a story about Hillary Clinton cutting cancer funding.

Do you like cats? Trump likes cats. Hillary hates cats.

Are you Facebook friends with the NRA? Hillary is trying to take your guns! Trump will save us.

And so on. Every day. For years.

Bob Mercer, a computer scientist who spent two decades at IBM, became extremely wealthy after joining Renaissance Technology, a Long Island hedge-fund operation, where he is co-CEO. Forbes pegs the billionaire’s earnings at $150 million a year.

Rebekah Mercer, often referred to as Bekah, is one of his three daughters with his wife, Diana. The Stanford-educated Rebekah worked as a Wall Street trader. She co-owns an online cookie store, Ruby et Violette, home-schools her children and serves as a guiding force in the family’s investments in conservative advocacy groups and causes.
