I keep seeing the clip of the helmeted dudes getting beat down with their giant signs.

Were they just like "Okay, now we're going to march with our signs...and LEFT...RI- (beatdown ensues)."

They were all carrying weird sticks, so obviously they knew what was going to happen. Those signs did not help them and looked stupid and heavy.

Oh, and that tall guy in red with no helmet or goggles so didn't want to be there.
