List of REPUBLICANS who have loudly condemned white nationalists and neo nazi's today.

I must say I am heartened by the number of GOP Senators and Congress folk who have STRONGLY spoken out against white nationalism and neo nazism today.

Of course POTUS WAS NOT ONE.

But there have been many..

he doesn't comment against things unless he stands to gain something. Wonder what it is.

6. Evan McMullin

He continued, “Now I’ve got to tell you another thing about this situation. I’ve spent time in Republican politics and with Republican leaders, and Republican leaders tend not to speak out against racism in America, unless it’s some disastrous situation like this, and then they come out.”

He continued, “The reason why they don’t do that — and I know because i’ve been a part of it, I’ve seen it myself — is that there’s a taboo within the Republican Party about attacking racism in America… There is an element of the Republican base that is racist, and our leaders are afraid to stand up to them because, if they do so, they’ll be criticized, and they’ll potentially lose votes.”

He concluded, “So they don’t do it, but that’s not public service, that’s self-service.”

The tragedy in Charlottesville this afternoon was domestic terrorism. We must all condemn hatred and white nationalism.

Kinda late, takes awhile for him to figure out the right thing to do.
Ohio's Democratic Senator signs his personal tweets with SB & posted this
I stand with my Republican colleague.
This was domestic terrorism.
We must all condemn white nationalism.-SB

17. Marco Rubio says take Trump's version of it.

"Very important for the nation to hear @POTUS describe events in #Charlottesville for what they are, a terror attack by #whitesupremacists," tweeted Republican Sen. Marco Rubio.

Condemning their own creation sounds pretty hollow.

28. Yes they have.

But it gives me hope to see this.

I also think they are seperating themselves from Donald, and anytime they do that it's a good thing. Because to get rid of Donald it will take Republican help.

Plus on this issue, these Republicans are right and helping.

32. I am very happy to see these comments.

Maybe we can still get back to the days when racism was expressed with a wink and a nod. That seemed so awful at the time. Who would have ever thought it could get so much worse?

Oh, and I don't care what their motives are. If it's because they are ready to throw Trump under the bus, so much the better.
