I Think New RW Talking Points Have Been Issued

I can always tell when the new RW talking points have passed down from on high down to the mindless drones along with marching orders to go spread them all over the internet. I can always tell because my Facebook feed becomes littered with people all repeating the same things.

Today I noticed that on my Facebook feed, there was a rash of people all "informing" us that Bill Clinton is to blame for the North Korean situation. I'm sure it's yet another lie, but I was too lazy to do any research on it. And I flat refused to click on their links to find out why they think this, as I'm sure it would be just another site like the ones pushing stories about Benghazi and Whitewater and every other kind of nonsense that has long been debunked. I find it funny that every RW nutbag I know complains that, "Obama just blamed Bush for everything," yet they can blame literally EVERYTHING wrong in the world on either Bill or Hillary Clinton (remember the old "911 was Clinton's fault" load of horse excrement?) I'm sure this is just another of those, but I won't generate any traffic to their BS sites to find out.

1. Clinton got them to delay their nuke program and fogo that and missile testing

by offering them food in exchange for the moratorium. Stupid and Cheney found it distasteful, so they ended it and NK resumed testing. Stupid and Cheney panicked and tried to get the program restarted by pulling Bill Richardson in as negotiator. The best they got was slower progress because NK had realized the US wasn't an honest broker and wouldn't live up to the deals it had made.

This is behind their talking point. They will never blame their own hamfisted, addlepated, ignorant, and utterly stupid abandonment of Clinton's deal for restarting their programs.

This fucking idiot in the WH is even worse than Stupid and Cheney. He's not living up to any deals.

prohibiting nukes. As with a lot of things, W came behind him and trashed the deal and lumped NK into his "Axis of Evil". NK got the bomb while W was POTUS. Trump also seems to be trying to find a way to trash the Iranian agreement.

experiences on FB.
I don't know why. Who do these Duers associate with, or have as 'friends?'
How do these posts get into your our other DUer's feeds?

I NEVER, EVER have had one post like that in my feed. Not one. I have real and FB friends all over the world. probably more outside the US than in the US, so maybe that is a plus. :&gt )

I have little idea how stuff gets into my feed other than my friends, interests, and of course now we all hear when a friend LIKES something or becomes FRIENDS with somebody or.. blah blah blah.

Maybe because probably 90% of my FB 'friends' are classical musicians or somehow involved in the arts...

ON EDIT: You mentioned RW nutbags. :&gt ) The few, very few, of those I know I have absolutely nothing to do with. Never talk about anything with them except when it is functionally necessary and almost never see or even think about them... They have nothing to offer my life and basically do not exist for me.

9. I See A Lot Of RW Stuff Because One Of My Friends Constantly Riles Them Up
Fri Aug 11, 2017, 01:03 AM
Aug 2017

When one of my Facebook friends posts on ANYTHING, it shows up in my feed, as do all the replies to him. That's how I see this stuff. I have one particular friend who LIVES to piss off RWers and is constantly responding to their posts. There are also apparently a frightening number of RWers who I went to high school with years ago. I also subscribe to a large amount of anti-Trump/anti-Republican news feeds on Facebook, and you know how RWers love to troll the comments sections.

I'm sort of an odd bird because rather than un-friend or silence them, I let their posts continue to show up. I guess it makes me feel like I'm intercepting communiques from behind the lines. Also, if you know in advance what the RW talking points are, you can do your research to debunk them (much like has happened in this very thread) before they become so widespread that they're just accepted as fact.

The one thing I didn't consider is that I NEVER post anything political on FB. I made a decision about that a long time ago.. I do belong to one INDIVISIBLE group, and a few friends post, ,sometimes a lot, "progressives"all, including --Guilder Glider;.)) HA HA..-- but I rarely say anything. or LIKE..

And interestingly, most of the people I know who make political posts, whether just on FB or in life, are not Americans!

You COULD, if you like, unfollow someone...

But, I see our lives on FB are very different. :&gt ))

Good luck, hang in there and don't let them drive you nuts.

11. Just As I Suspected, Someone Already Debunked It..........And Guess What?
Fri Aug 11, 2017, 01:41 AM
Aug 2017

Water off a duck's back. The RWer pimping that "North Korea is Bill Clinton's fault" garbage was undaunted. Posted a link to a garbage story that is pretty much just an extension of the meme mentioned in the above PolitiFact article and told the person who debunked him to, "read and learn." Then he made some snarky comment, "If what you say is true, and it isn't, why does North Korea remain unbombed?" The debunker responded, "For the same reason Iran has not been bombed...and yes it is true ....we push our beliefs and our supposed values on everyone...merica...and eventually it's conflict...why do you think half the world hates us." Then the RWer provided us with this little gem: " I don't bother thinking about what half The world thinks. I know that the prosperous South Koreans like us. They have personally thanked me many times. The starving people in North Korea would thank me too, if they wouldn't be jailed or murdered for doing so."

This is what always happens when you debunk RW talking points with facts and back them into a corner. They respond that they just know what they know because they know somebody who knew somebody that said something to somebody, and well, they just know it, and by God, that's irrefutable proof right there. They start spewing angry gibberish, try to distract, change the subject. The one thing they WON'T do is admit defeat or (God forbid) change their beliefs based on the newly discovered information that they've been lied to.
