For his beverage, Thom enjoyed a refreshing glass of Pellegrino water. The waiter asked Thom if he'd like a lemon wedge with it and he politely replied "No, thank you."
The Caesar Salad was served with some warm dinner rolls. Thom enjoyed the rolls very, very much. He politely signaled to the waiter, who came to Thom's table. "Do you make these rolls fresh here? They sure are fresh and delicious," said Thom. The waiter politely replied "No, Mr. Hartmann, a local baker brings these in daily." Thom smiled and said "Well, they sure taste like they were baked here this morning!" The waiter also smiled and said "We get that a lot here. Will there be anything else?" Thom replied "No, thank you, I think I will simply continue to enjoy my delightful Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with warm and flaky dinner rolls and my refreshing Pellegrino water without lemon."
Thom felt very, very full after his delightful Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with warm and flaky dinner rolls and my refreshing Pellegrino water without lemon, but his radio show has been going so wonderfully lately that he decided to treat himself to dessert. He ordered a scrumptious Peach Cobbler with fresh whipped cream.
After finishing his Peach Cobbler. Thom was even fuller than he was before! He politely paid his check, leaving a generous 15% tip for his friendly and helpful waiter. He knew he had a long drive back to the station to tape his show, and he had enjoyed many glasses of refreshing Pellegrino water without lemon, so he made a brief stop at the men's room. Thom urinated, then washed his hands with plenty of hot soapy water. He departed the restaurant full and satisfied.
ALERT: Please join us tomorrow for "What Tom Had For Lunch." He was reportedly overheard at the station telling a staffer that "I've had a real hankering for a grilled cheese lately." While we have not been able to fully verify this, if it's true, we will be the FIRST to bring the news to you.

(13,159 posts)It fills a void in my heart that only more Thom minutiae can fill.
If only he was more like us mere mortals and posted photos of his meals on instagram.
Alas he is too classy and reserved for such a gauche display of gourmandry - if you will excuse my coining of a new word.
It's ... It's just ... My joy to bask in the Aura of Thom precludes the use of base English in praising his glory.

(18,837 posts)...I'm not a fan, but I'm also not a detractor. When it comes to Thom, he's largely off my radar, for reasons I'll keep to myself.
I'm obviously reacting, with whatever humor I could muster, to the unrest that's been brewing about the "defending Thom" posts in recent days.
I tend to watch what I like and refrain from commenting on what I don't like. I don't "tell" people who they should follow, and I tend to not respond well to being told who to follow (and why I must). I don't care for being told that I am a not "true Democrat" or a "true Progressive" because I fail to grasp the significance of a TV or radio personality. I also don't ram my preferences down the throats of others.
So rather than gripe about it, I wrote my humble little thread.
I actually have no idea what he eats. That said, he very well could have a grilled cheese tomorrow, so let's hope it's confirmed soon.
