Chicken hawk piece of trash: Vets unload on Trump for attacking Dem senators military record

While Blumenthal has publicly apologized for claiming that he served in Vietnam, he did actually enlist in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he served from 1970 to 1976.

Trump, meanwhile, was granted four deferments on the draft while he was studying at Fordham University and the University of Pennsylvania, and then was subsequently medically disqualified during an armed forces physical examination for supposed bone spurs in his feet, although no records exist to verify this claim.

Many veterans on Twitter chimed in to slam Trump for having the gall to attack an actual vet’s record while he methodically avoided serving at the height of the Vietnam war.

like the ignoble republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, to take every opportunity to piss on our American veterans and POWS.

. . .they don't earn billions in interest. They don't actually have that kind of money. Perhaps a hundred million in interest, but not billions.

However, he still should not attack other people who did go.

Disclaimer: I in no way support Trump's current actions or those of his recent history.

. . .an awful lot of general love and tough talk about attacking here or attacking there and lots of military tough guy love.

Given those demonstrations, Vietnam should never even be mentioned.

Didn't Jared, Don Jr., and Eric all come of age in the 9/11 years? Not one of these guys served? Ivanka? Nobody? Trump himself bought his way out of Vietnam, as we all know. Brothers? Nephews who served? Sisters, mothers, aunts? Anyone?

It's actually somewhat odd to have ZERO relation to the military in one's family whatsoever, but that's where the Trumps are.

Not that I'm a McCain fan, but what tRump did to McCain was inexcusable. I really thought at the time that would be the end of his campaign.
