Sure would be a shame if some complete idiot came along and got elected POTUS – someone so incompetent, so self-absorbed, so stupid he immediately becomes the butt of jokes the world over.

Sure would be a shame if someone too stupid to breathe without written “inhale/exhale” instructions wound up in the White House.

Sure would be a shame to put a Putin-ass-licker in the Oval Office – where he could hand over the country’s highly classified information to the Russians he swears he has no ties to, despite all now overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Sure would be a shame to have a “pResident” who lies about everything on a daily basis – from the size of his inauguration crowds to congratulatory phone calls from the president of Mexico and the Boy Scouts that actually never happened.

Sure would be a shame to have a “pResident” whose “trusted advisors” have to keep changing their stories from one day to the next after being confronted with the facts that prove that they lied.

Sure would be a shame to have an administration filled with people who swear they’ve had no contact with Russian operatives – but suddenly “remember” as many as a hundred such contacts when the truth comes out.

Sure would be a shame to elect a “pResident” who is a self-declared pussy-grabber who cheated his fellow citizens out of their money in order to attend his “university”, or worked for him without being paid, or contributed to his “charitable foundation” that never forwarded those donations to the charities he was allegedly funding.

Sure would be a shame to have a “pResident” who doesn’t know the difference between an executive order and a bill, nor the difference between “fake news” and facts that are indisputable.

Sure would be a shame, a damned shame – no, actually it would be the most shameful thing that ever happened to a country that was once great, and is now a nation whose “pResident” is a lying POS who spends his days tweeting covfefe, yelling at the TV, and playing golf.

Sure is a shame. We had a nice little democracy here once – too bad it’s fallen on such hard times.

But we can get it back. And we will. Resist, fight, make your voice heard in any way and every way you can.

I would only add...

Would be a shame that your President is surrounding himself with EXTREME loyalists, many in the military

Would be a shame if the lying became commonplace, if your ears became numb to it as liberties are swept under the rug

Would be a shame if the same President who calls for police brutality was sending a dog whistle to his followers to be openly aggressive to gays, transgenders, liberals, immigrants, etc

Would be a shame if the special prosecutor or anyone key on his staff were to be "outed" in a false news story to be corrupt, only to be gunned down or run over by some zealot...Would be a shame if it stopped the investigation.

So many things that can still go so wrong...and the conspiracy theories around the Clintons don't even get close to the REALITY of this mob boss turned President. THAT's the stuff that keeps me up at night...

All I can think about, with every news cycle and new revelation is that I hope the guy investigating is 10 steps ahead of the news cycle...and that he's working faster than the Trumps machine can dismantle the balance of power, the Constitution, etc.
