I think they could use it to promote tougher regulations on the banking industry. They can also use it to show how all the "deregulation" that happened in the past was a huge mistake, and that the idea, pushed by republicans, that the banking industry can regulate themselves, and that we need "LESS" regulations is a huge, huge pile of crap!

It can also be used against Romney since his plan is all about "LESS REGULATION" for Wall Street and the banks.

Just my thoughts.

spring board for a lot of initiatives and also correction of the perception that the Obama administration let the banks, etc. off easy. It seems here we are again, more corruption, and the level of corruption continues. My take is if there is silence, it will be used significanty against the democrats in the 2012 election by Romney.
