Like Mika says about Kushner denying knowing what the meeting was about and claiming he didn't read the entire e-mail. How do you ignore the freakin' subject line of the e-mail? Mika is nailing his ass!
What a CROCK! What a LIAR!

Kushner to face intel committee on Monday behind closed doors

By Devlin Barrett July 23 at 6:25 PM

<...>

Some lawyers not involved in the case expressed surprise that, given the potential legal pitfalls of the criminal investigation, Kushner or any other Trump advisers would take the risk of talking to Congress, given that such statements could be used against them later by criminal prosecutors.

“It’s a very difficult tightrope to walk,’’ said Justin Dillon, a former federal prosecutor now in private practice. “He has to balance the political fallout from taking the Fifth Amendment with the potential criminal fallout of talking.’’

Dillon predicted anything Kushner tells the committee will be shared with Mueller.

His statement this morning is reflective of his testimony, he knew nothing and didn't do anything.

Republicans suck.

despite the fact that his financial dealings were most likely illegal and his arrogance for not getting "caught" thus far, gave him a false sense of having "done nothing wrong".

It's like he thinks his illegal money-laundering is somehow not associated as "collusion" related to the election.

These people boggle my mind. If they hadn't been so arrogant and thinking themselves invincible by accepting roles in the federal government, they probably could have gone on forever with their underground criminal activities.

"I share this information because these actions should be viewed through the lens of a fast-paced campaign with thousands of meetings and interactions, some of which were impactful and memorable and many of which were not."

I'm new to this! The job was too much for me!

"I do not recall any such calls with the Russian Ambassador."

I do not recall. A golden classic.

"In fact, on November 9, the day after the election, I could not even remember the name of the Russian Ambassador. When the campaign received an email purporting to be an official note of congratulations from President Putin, I was asked how we could verify it was real. To do so I thought the best way would be to ask the only contact I recalled meeting from the Russian government, which was the Ambassador I had met months earlier, so I sent an email asking Mr. Simes, "What is the name of the Russian ambassador?" "

Or he could have just googled it. I'm sure, the russian embassy in the US has a web-page.

On the one had they want you to believe that Kushner was too busy to recall meeting any Russian officials and on the other he says "Well I met him but can't remember his name!" Truly unbelievable the depths these jokers will go to preserve their own hides

And I hope Mueller has the tapes! Nail these treason-weasels!

Like Mika said, isn't it just a coincidence that the Ambassador has been called back to Russia?

Right! It sounds like they want to do a major document dump to tie people up so they don't find what might be burried in the document dump or don't find out what is missing. Does he think that he is a magician playing slight of hand? Look to the right so you don't see what is going on to the left?

can this be verified?

this questioning today seems to be an unnecessary delay if we have to wait for these people to testify under oath before legal action can be taken. If they can be prosecuted for lying to congress, is it still a delaying tactic?

Is there anything that can be documented as false in this statement?
